Tonight, I finally decided to start a blog. The papers on my desk seemed to be twitching. Amidst the rustling, I heard the muffled whispers of many voices. I couldn’t make out all of the words, but “write” was loud and clear.
In truth, I haven’t been writing as much as I would like, so this will give me an outlet and help me to create some goals for myself. In fact, aside from writing for my college class assignments, I seem to be stifling my creativity altogether.
I was working on a Cinema & Media Arts Production major, which turned into an English: Writing & Rhetoric major; however, I recently just changed my major to Public History, with a double-minor in English and Religious Studies. I work at my college’s campus bookstore; I also just started working at a “haunted” Antebellum mansion, as a docent. This new undertaking should be excellent inspiration for writing. I plan to write here just as I would in a journal, but will keep some names and places secret for the sake of privacy.
All I request of my readers is to apply The Golden Rule when commenting.
I very much appreciate you stopping by and hope you will pop-by again, in the future.
Cheers! -Pip
